9/19/2009 Another Siamese found her forever home! With the wonderful community response, we have now found homes for all but the last 15! And, among those 15, Mama Lotus, is already promised a home. She will go to her new home once her baby boy Cody is grown up and weaned. He is a precious little fellow, totally spoiled by his Mama, his Aunties and all of us at Cat Angels. All he has to do is squeak, and we all run to see what he needs.

As of the beginning of today's adoption event, 19 of the cats from this rescue have been adopted. Also, none are in foster care any more, all are at the facility so they can all be viewed at our adoptathons. 9/2/2009 All of the cats will be available to go home starting on Saturday, 9/5/09. Just about half of them are already adopted. Most males went home last Saturday, and about 10 females are scheduled to go home this Saturday. There are stil over a dozen left! We are working to get their pictures in the "adoptable animals" section soon, so look for them!

The males in the group will be available to go home starting Saturday, 8/29. Some of them are already spoken for, but there are several still available! Because it takes them longer to recover from spay, the females will be available to go home the following Saturday, 9/5.
8/25/2009
One of the females, Lotus, did not get spayed because she gave birth to a kitten the day before she was supposed to be spayed. She'll have to wait until she weans her kitten before getting spayed.

Twelve of the rescued cats have now found homes. All of the cats that are healthy enough will be spayed and neutered on Tuesday 8/25 by >> SNAP-NC
8/16/2009
Six of the rescued cats have found homes. They will be able to go to their new homes after they are over their colds and are spay/neutered and have received vaccines, microchips, etc. Two more approved applicants are still working decide which cats they want. If you have applied and not heard from us, please be patient! We only have a few volunteers who process applications and they are working as hard as they can! Also if you applied, watch your email, as we may email you requests for followup information.

One of the 36 cats had feline leukemia and had to be put down, so now we have 35 :(. The 14 healthiest ones have been moved to one of our open landscape cat rooms so they can stretch their legs and the cages will be less crowded.
8/14/09
All 36 cats have now arrived. We appreciate your continued support.
8/13/09Thanks to generous community support with donations and help, we can now take the other 11 cats from this situation that we couldn't take yesterday! Thanks to everyone who stepped up to help with these cats, and we still need more help with the (now) 36 cats that will all need full vet work before they can be adoptable! Cary Animal control is bringing them to us this afternoon.
